Add Scrlpets to your device
Installing puts Scrlpets on your home screen and opens it in its own window. It is the same site, with the browser chrome out of the way.
What installing gives you
- An app icon on your home screen or dock.
- A full-screen window without the browser address bar.
- The same account and the same data — nothing is copied onto your device.
What it does not do
- It does not work offline. Scrlpets needs a connection every time you open it.
- It does not add push notifications. Notifications still live inside the app.
- It does not make anything load faster. Pages are fetched exactly as they are in the browser.
How to install
- iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): open the browser menu, then Install app.
- Desktop (Chrome or Edge): use the install icon in the address bar, or the browser menu.
The one-tap button above only appears when your browser offers it. Safari never does, so use the steps instead.
